This Privacy Policy explains how Jummai Express ("we", "us", "our") handles your information when you use the Jummai Express mobile application and website (together, the "Platform") โ a marketplace where farmers and sellers list farm products, and buyers can browse and contact sellers directly. Please read it carefully. By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described here.
We collect only the information needed to operate the marketplace. The table below summarises what we collect and why.

We do not collect precise GPS location. "Location" in a listing is text you type (e.g. a town or state) to describe where a product is available.
The Jummai Express app requests permissions only when needed for a feature. You can grant or deny each one, and manage them anytime in your device settings.
We never access your contacts, microphone, precise location, SMS, or call logs.
Buyers can browse listings without creating an account. When a buyer chooses to contact a seller, they may provide a name and phone number so the seller can respond. This information is shared with the relevant seller for the purpose of that enquiry only. Buyers should share contact details with sellers at their own discretion โ Jummai Express is a marketplace and does not control how independent sellers use information you send them.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only in these limited cases:
We keep your personal information only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. Buyer enquiry details are retained only as long as necessary to facilitate communication with sellers.
You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. Two options:
Upon a verified request, we will delete your account, listings, and personal data within 30 days, except information we are legally required to retain (for example, transaction records for tax or fraud-prevention purposes). You can also ask us to delete specific data without closing your account.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted password storage, secure (HTTPS) connections, and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your password confidential and notify us of any suspected unauthorised access.
